Client testimonials

We asked some of our clients and their families to provide feedback on their experience in receiving services from Home Instead Senior Care in Brisbane's Inner North & Western Suburbs. Here is what they had to say:

“These three ladies were brilliant. They showed genuine care and concern for Doreen. She loved their company; they became her family each week. Their genuine care and interest in Doreen as well as showing an understanding of her needs. These three ladies were most sociable and friendly and thoughtful. They looked at their work as more than a job!! Thank you."

"Always professional, helpful, Adam was very efficient, polite and most caring. Thank you so much for everything!”

"Janet has come to look forward to the CAREGivers coming in – especially finds the late afternoon/evening service very supportive and helpful, and she enjoys having the CAREGiver’s prepare something light for her to eat."

"The Home Instead services provided to Mum by your extraordinary caregivers are simply wonderful. The CGs are very important to Mum and worth every penny!"

"We could not have hoped for more gentle, caring and compassionate people. Both Rhonda and Bev exceeded our expectations in the role of beautiful companions for Arthur and I know he cared for them both dearly. Could you please pass on my sentiments. Both Rhonda and Bev gave Arthur an amazing enthusiasm and zest for life. He really looked forward to seeing them each week, and spoke about them regularly. They showed genuine interest, care and love for the wellbeing of Arthur even beyond rostered days. It is with soooo very much gratitude that I thank Rhonda and Bev most sincerely for all that they contributed to make the last year of Arthur's life a delight!!!"

"Mum’s weight has dropped a fair bit over the last couple of months (she’s now 43kg!) but encouragingly she has recently managed to remain stable. She’s actually been eating quite well and I think the carers have noticed this too. She’s also so much brighter these days, and I really believe this has a lot to do with the one-on-one care and attention she is receiving from Jayne, Sam, Liz and Noelene. It’s a difficult journey as you know but it has been made that much easier knowing Mum is having the assistance of your wonderful team."

"I had a great time away and really feel better for having had the break. I visited Mum yesterday and had the pleasure of meeting Jayne. She is lovely. Just lovely. I could tell Mum was very relaxed and comfortable with her which was wonderful to see. Sam and Pam have been raving about Noela! They think she's wonderful and has a really nice rapport with Mum. I'm going to sit down later tonight & work out what days & times I will visit Mum and may change our current arrangement if that's ok? May be 5 or 6 times a week still with both day & evening am shifts if that's possible. Will confirm asap and really hope we can keep Jayne, Sam and Noela all visiting Mum as they're just wonderful."

"Thank you very much for the excellent support provided by Melanie and Yo to our father over the past five weeks. They are wonderful people and very supportive carers. In particular, the support assistance provided by Melanie over the weekend to Dad made it a special time for him. It was his last weekend of 65 years of living in that house since they moved in in 1950.  Instead of it being a stressful and worrying time for Dad, it turned out to be lively, positive and happy considering what was to happen today. Melanie was such a big part of that and we congratulate and appreciate her assistance, skills and professionalism most sincerely."
